Hey Couchsurfers, my name is Enrico, I'm from Italy but I've lived and studied in London for many years, and lived and worked in Viet Nam for a couple of years. I am currently travelling while working remotely. For me the best of travelling is meeting local people and understanding different cultures, trying local food and experiencing local habits

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

After many years i am back on Couchsurfing. I had amazing experiences thanks to this community, and i made lots of incredible friends. I hope to meet new wonderful people agaian here!

My spirit has been a traveller
since I gave name to my first cloud
my immagination has run in parallel
to my every day far above the ground

I've climbed the peaks of Himalaya
I've passed the Pillars of Hercules
I've dived down the waterfalls of Niagara
I've painted my body in the Red sea

And yet my shoes are still to be torn
And my rucksack is still to be worn
But now freedom is my only goal
And I'll finally follow my soul

Interests

I love travelling and meeting people. My favourite activity is hiking. I love the freedom of being in the mountain. I have recently completed my first multi day hike, the Peaks of the Balkans, and i loved wild camping in solitude at high altitude there. I like to write short stories and my long-term unachieveable dream is to write a novel and become a professional writer. I love reading any kind of books and listening to music. I also love my job which involves programming!

People are beautiful and, in my opinion, they are the most interesting thing in this universe. We are 7.4 billions on this Planet, so don't get stuck with those that make you suffer, let them go. We are 7.4 billions on this Planet, and yet only a few people will mean something in your life and will care about you, so when you find one, make him/her feel more valuable than all the rest.
