When I found out at 1am on the plane back home from Australia that I had to spend a night in Kuala Lumpur, where I was only expecting to catch my connected flight to Istanbul in an hour without having booked any room, I had just realized how much an invitation from a complete stranger to stay in his couch could be appealing and relieving so far from home and friends.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had very interesting and enjoyable people on my futon and each time I just realized that it is the best way to travel across new countries and cultures without crossing the borders of your home.
