About Me

I am on a nationwide book and speaking tour that has taken me to all 50 states. I am very friendly, fun and neat.

I am on the road 300 days per year promoting my newest comedy book. It is about 6,000 years of history as told by a guy who missed the first 5,960 something years.

To sum up the world: People fought...let's eat.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I just heard about it tonight from somebody. I am on the road 300 days per year and was told positive things about this site.

Most of the people who hire me put me up in hotels or in their homes, but the Summertime tends to be slow for the speaking circuit. So I decided to try and be a vendor at various county and state fairs around the country.

When I speak, my expenses are covered.

As a vendor, I pay for the booth and sometimes even my flight. So I need to keep costs down with regards to lodging.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Rock, pop, country, rap. I like going to concerts but it has been a long time since I have attended one.

Movies: Comedies, action movies. I love the really dumb movies with Saturday Night Live alums. Old School, Happy Gilmore, the Waterboy, etc.

I also loved The Expendables 1 and 2, and the last couple of Batman movies.

Books: The Iliad and other classics, non-fiction books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have spoken in all 50 states. The last state was Kansas. On September 24, 2013, I spoke in Hays, Kansas, a small town in the midpoint of Denver and Kansas City. It felt good to finally check that last state off the map.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am new but am willing to learn. My life is a traveling carnival of adventure and I make friends easily. Because I speak professionally, I am happy as a guest just being quiet and listening to other people. However, I am totally comfortable being engaging and gregarious.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am fun, clean, and easygoing. I have traveled all over the country and can recommend fun things to see and do in many of those places. My travels outside of the United States have been a lot less.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, Israel, Mexico, Singapore, Thailand

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
