About Me
I recently moved back to the U.S. after living in Galicia, Spain for a year. I was introduced to the Coach Surfing community in Europe and would love to continue building the community wherever I go. However, I currently have 2 jobs so it will take some time before I can start traveling or hosting.
I've also moved many times within the U.S. (I've lived in Maryland, North Carolina, Delaware, Oregon, and Pennsylvania) because it seems I cannot stay in one place for too long.
I am very active and I enjoy sports (basketball and volleyball especially) and really any type of game. The ideal trip for me includes hiking or wandering around a city. I also enjoy reading in my hammock. : )
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
A wise Couchsrfer (his name is Alfonso) once told me that Couchsurfing is more about visiting people rather than places. The places are in the background but the people are in the foreground. As an extrovert who loves to share stories, this way of travelling appeals to me. I would rather make good, personal connections than take pictures of famous places. By Couchsurfing, I hope to learn about new places through the perspective of locals.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One amazing thing I've done is keep my friends for a very long time.
In July, 2023, I walked from Otta to Trondheim, Norway along the pilgrim path.
I've lived in Guadalajara, Mexico (teaching English at a private school) and while I was there I took the El Chepe train from Los Mochis to Chihuahua. It was amazing! I love taking the train. This past December, I visited a few friends in Oslo, Norway and I took the train there was well.
