An avid cook and traveller, I like to experiment on new recipes and travel during my leisure time. Fresh and exciting experiences constitute a big part of my life and I try to experience as many different things as possible in my daily life. I believe only by experiential learning, we will be able to discover our true passion that will eventually drives us to excel in our life – the drive that wakes us up in the morning and keeps us awake at night.

I enjoy meaningful conversation and am particularly interested in life experiences. I am particularly passionate about food education, youth empowerment and education. A final year student in my university, I am still not very sure what I should be doing for the rest of my life, and I actively explore myself and the things around me.

I dream big; I like to paint a vision and drives the passionate people around me towards the big hairy audacious vision.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

One of my best buddies, Muizz Aziz had amazing experience doing Couchsurfing. I can resonate very well with his experience, so I like to live that experience myself as well.

Best part about travelling in my opinion is the opportunity to meet many incredibly amazing people, whom I will not have met from my day-to-day life. When we travel, we meet people from all walks of life with entirely different thinking and perception about life. These inspiring individuals often open up my eyes to the possibilities of the world and keep me thinking.

I often find myself very uncomfortable being too comfortable for too long, because I worry that I will become complacent and stop learning. I hope my journey with Couchsurfers will be a fulfilling learning journey, of which I will try to learn as much as I can from all the people I meet here.

I love to learn about anything and everything, I read very widely about world news and I find it particularly engaging if I can learn from the local perspective about any news that I read. From experience, what we read from the news are often excessively filtered and sometimes censored.

I can share my passion on cooking, perhaps stir up some quick dishes and some quick tips. Sharing food is perhaps one of the best ways for human to establish a connection. I mean, who does not like food?
