My friends call me red fish. You know the one that forgets everything after he's doing one round in his jar...They find it funny. Me less...Despite my bad memory, when I've got friends, I don't forget them!
A bit shy when I am in a group, I find myself changed when I'm in a foreign country. I love to meet local people, discuss, discover new cultures, new ways of life.
Traveling is for me a way to be a child again... To be surprised by everything new: food, architecture, landscapes, flowers, people, lifestyles
I love to laugh and I'm always positive. Life has been helping me in that way since I consider to be lucky.

Interests

I can't be far from water and from nature.
Even if I'm down to earth, the place where I feel really good is water. I'm twice a week at the swimming pool and cannot spend holidays without a lake, a river or the sea. I've been doing scuba diving for 9 years and I can't wait the next time I'll dive into warm seas.
Gardening, walking, biking around my place are other outdoor activities I like when the weather don't oblige me to read, looking at Netflix or to go to see movies.
Travels... I'm the happiest man when I take a plane! Not for this pollutant mean of transport itself, but because it's synonymous of discovering new things....

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

what is surprising? Something you didn't know or have never seen before! What is the most surprising? Spending 2 hours observing 5 whales in the Mediteranean sea next to the boat or walking through vietnamese streets among people eating boiled soups sitting on the floor ?
What is extraordinary for me can be the simplest thing for you. That's the magic of traveling!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I like to spend time with my hosts, speaking with them, make a tour or only share some time for diner.

When I am hosted, I do prefer when my host can spend some time with me, showing around, share our experiences. However, if my host has no time to spend with me, don't worry, it's fine too, I'm fully autonomous ;) Sharing your preferred secret places around will be already great!
