Kamusta ka! I'm Erica, just another girl who has a passion for traveling and learning about the lives of people from around the world. So far, I've been able to live with host families in South Korea and Brazil during my bridge year. I'm currently a student attending a university that travels around the world. I've finished my first year in San Francisco, and for the next three years, I'll be living in Seoul, Hyderabad, Berlin, Buenos Aires, London, and Taipei. I haven't officially declared a major yet, but I do know that I hope to use artificial intelligence to improve education and spread empathy.

Interested in Hiking
Fluent in English
Learning Korean
Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I love stories and learning about the experiences of other people, so this is a great way to authentically meet people in different places while saving money on accommodation.
Music, Movies, and Books
If you love Siddhartha by Herman Hesse and The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho, we need to have a conversation! :)
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I traveled solo for the first time when I was 19 in Brazil. In 10 days, I visited Rio de Janeiro, Paraty, Salvador, and Chapada Diamantina after living in Brazil for only 3 months. It is still one of the best experiences of my young life.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: Wisdom that each individual possesses. Learn: Empathy and kindness from one another. Share: Stories and good food!
What I Can Share With Hosts
We can exchange experiences, and I might be able to make you some Brazilian brigadeiro or Filipino chicken (tofu if you're vegan) adobo. I will also welcome you to place (if available) in the future if you're in the same city as me. :)
