Recently widowed as of July 2023 and searching for what my life's path will be now that I am unable to have the future I had planned with my late husband. I'm embarking on multiple trips to see if anything makes my heart sing again. The first trip will be by train around the US in 2024. The next trips will likely be in other countries.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to see the world and find my place in it. I am getting my responsibilities handled over the winter and plan to travel for a long time after starting in spring of 2024 to hopefully find what my new future holds. The best way to see the world is with hosts that know the area in my experience, they can lead you towards some real gems. Part of this journey may be to see if I'm going to stay where I'm at and keep our house or move somewhere completely different. I will be in each city from either 2-5 days depending on how large the city is.
