Overview
About Me
I like traveling a lot (I think this is quite obvious). Apart from that, I'm a huge language enthousiast, because learning a new language opens up many opportunities to get to know new people, cultures and perspectives.
I'm laid back, and I like to try new things. I like to socialize, but I don't mind spending time alone as well.
When I travel, I always find it important to do more than just sightseeing. Old, beautiful buildings are very interesting (they really are!), but they don't tell much about people and what life is like. That's why I enjoy meeting and talking with people on my journeys.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing to learn more about the country I'm in when I'm traveling, and what life is like in other places. Things that you wouldn't normally notice as a tourist. And also to hang out with fellow travelers to explore a new place together.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One experience I won't forget soon is a year of studying and traveling in China. During that time I met wonderful people, some of whom I still speak to up to the present day. It helped me improve my Chinese, but not only that: it gave me an insight into a culture very different from my own, a good way to broaden your horizon. That's also when I caught the traveling bug.
Teach, Learn, Share
