Overview
About Me
I grew up on a peninsula just outside of the industrial city of Sundsvall in northern Sweden. Since then a lot of things has happened: I studied political science with focus on conflict and then on to photojournalism which led to my B.A. in journalism but also to me staying two years in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
In 2015 I moved to Göteborg, Sweden and got my first stable job. But things move quickly and I somehow ended up in Uppsala where I currently reside with my two cats and work within the field of logistics.
As a person I'd like to think that I'm calm and friendly. I do my best to be progressive, to listen and learn from other people and to discuss important (and not-so-important) subjects/topics/themes.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I first joined because I needed a place to stay for just a few hours of sleep in Vienna before moving on to Ljubljana. I was very well taken care of by my first host and that experience sticks with me to date. I know how valuable it can be to meet people through Couchsurfing and since I have the opportunity now, I'd love to give back and host people.

Music, Movies, and Books
Judging by my reading history I am very fond of Russian classics. But in reality I love to read socio-realism and it just so happens that the golden age of literature in Russia produced a lot of great works within that theme. I do like to read other genres as well, such as dystopian literature.
