Overview
About Me
I quit my job at the end of last year (2015) to travel for a year to 18 months. I didn't find my corporate life style fulfilling and wanted to take a significant chunk of time out to figure out what I really want. All I know is I want to make the world a better place doing something I'm passionate about that makes me happy. My boyfriend came out to join me in March quitting his job too after he saw me having so much fun...
As much as I love him were individuals and determined to meet as many new people on our travels as we can.
I'm open minded, respectful of other people's views and property. I like good conversation, outdoor activities such as hiking and surfing.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It's a good way of meeting new people from different walks of life.
Over the last few months I've met people who recommended couch surfing to me and want to try it. I'm a big air bnb user and love it because of the personal touch.
Also as I'm travelling to a lot of new places so meeting people with local knowledge they're willing to part with is such a help. I'm all about new experiences.
Interests
Travel and meeting people. The more I travel the more I'm touched by the generosity and good spirit in the world.
I love the outdoors and the sea. I like to hike, surf, sail and do yoga when I can.
I'm not really a science geek... You can decide.
I love wine.

Music, Movies, and Books
All music, generally preferring anything happy and upbeat. Having said that there's occasionally a time when a good old cry is great and then I love to watch The Notebook with Rachael Adams and bawl my eyes out.
I recently finished a book by Hannah Green, I never promised you a rose garden, which is about a girl with schizophrenia and loved it more than many for a long time.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hmm... I did a sky dive in Namibia.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have alright chat, I think.
I can share my travel experiences and give tips to anyone going to countries I've been.
I look to learn from other people in their out look on life and I want to reflect the generosity I've experienced.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can help out with travel tips.
I can cook for other guests for group meals.
I helped a couch surfing and Airbnb host in airlie beach Australia, where I lived for one month, by greeting guests when he wasn't around and I made up the rooms/ washed linen. More than happy to do that again.
