About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I'm currently devising a plan on how I'm going to travel the world on the salary of a photojournalist.

ABOUT ME

I'm a junior at West Virginia University studying journalism with a specialization in visual media. My home is typically where I store my suitcase. I want to travel the world and I had the opportunity to do so during the spring of 2013 while studying abroad at Dublin City University in Dublin, Ireland. I love adventure and I'm eager to continuing traveling and gaining new experiences.

PHILOSOPHY

What you do today is important because you are exchanging a day of your life for it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would love to meet people locally and go on a hike or establish friendships internationally, so maybe one day I'll "know a guy who knows a guy," that I can crash with if I'm ever in the area!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I attempted to surf with a lovely woman near Milan, but sadly due to a dying cell phone and a closed train station, we never met. In the future, I would love to meet new people locally and internationally.

Interests

Photography, sport photography, hiking, backpacking, camping, reading, writing, traveling, watching movies, going to the beach, exploring a city in which I don't understand the language, experiencing something new, finding something or somewhere that isn't well-known.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I drove cross country from Haymarket, Virginia to San Diego, California. Being so close to the same people definitely wears on you, but the experience was amazing and I'd like to backpack across America to every state.

I've been a military brat my entire life and this has allowed me to experience so many things I would have never have the chance to. I've lived in four different countries, on three different continents. Moving so often was hard, but I wouldn't change a moment of it.

Countries I’ve Visited

Croatia, France

Countries I’ve Lived In

Ireland, Japan, Spain, United States
