About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Just spent a month in Kupang on the island of Timor Indonesia for a month to volunteer at an orphanage. Now I'm in Bali spending 20 days having the time of my life!

Come July I'm moving to Brisbane Australia for at least 6 months as an Au Pair. In my spare time and on weekends I'm looking to get some travel time in and explore different parts of Australia, a lot of the sunshine and gold coast and Byron Bay!
hopefully I'll be meeting some kind folk and future friends through CS :)

ABOUT ME

I'm great!
what else can I say? ;)

I'm in love with life and grateful for everything it has to offer.
I feel blessed to be given the opportunity to connect with new people from around the world.
I love to talk and eat and socialize and explore.
I love new challenges and big adventures.
I'm fun, charismatic and open to new ideas and lifestyles.
I'm honest, I say how I feel
I'm super respectful.
I laugh a lot.
I love hugs

Chances are slim that we won't get along.

Disclaimer;
I'm 1000% vegan, not just a diet, however unless you challenge I won't make it it a topic :P just putting it out there because it just makes it easier when it comes down to food and going out etc.

PHILOSOPHY

What you put into the world is what you get back.

Life is a perception of your own reality.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did an impromptu volunteer gig for a month in the Philippines, on my 3.5 month travels, with a group called All Hands. Two weeks after I bought my tickets a 7.2 earthquake hit the Visayas and tore through the centre of the island Bohol. One week before my departure, Nov 8 2013, typhoon Haiyan swept over the south and caused extensive damage to the east, especially on the island of Leyte.

My whole trip was originally planned as a normal backpacking adventure, but when I heard this news I knew I didn't want to be another tourist in a country of need. Upon my arrival in Manila I stayed with a host from New Zealand for four nights, I had planned to stay with two hosts over that stay but my second host had to cancel because he was Volunteering on the island of Bohol for earthquake relief. He was the one who passed on the info for All hands, which I promptly contacted and applied to start volunteering. A week later I found myself at basecamp in a rural part of Bohol ready to start tearing down fallen structures.
All hands helps clear the land of fallen homes/buildings, save useful materials and helps rebuild communities.
All together i stayed three weeks with the Bohol crew and my last week in the Philippines I volunteered for typhoon relief on Leyte.
I became a pro with the crowbar and sledgehammer.

It was the most amazing experience of my life and I hope to have many more like it.

check out www.hands.org if you want in on some amazing experiences.
