One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Most recently I lived with my family in Rio de Janeiro for the summer while I had worked and played in the Marvelous City. We visited Pão de Açúcar one early Sunday morning. The highly frequented tourist attraction was surprisingly completely vacant for our personal enjoyment. The mountain was much higher than I expected once ontop and seems thrusts out over the ocean in such a violent but beautiful way. The morning mist from from the waves rose up along the rock forming a ring of clouds around the peak. It was hot and juxtaposed the cool and breezy climate on top of the platform. I was king of a floating island in the clouds, master of the tumultous sea below. It was surreal and sublime.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a fairly good in the kitchen and well versed in the culinary arts. I love to cook for people and would be delighted to share some of the recipes and experiences I have collected abroad and inherited from home.

I really want to improve my linguistic abilities. English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Russian are my main foci of interest. Simple conversation is the best form of instruction.
