I am Monique, a simple Filipina girl who dreams of traveling the world and making a difference. I am living in The Hague, Netherlands where I am pursuing my master's degree in Development Studies.

I love to read, learn new things, meet new people, travel, and see the world from a different perspective. I also love sports, theater, and old music. I consider myself an old soul.

To be honest, I am a little reserved and introverted. But once I get along with people, I can get really fun and crazy, too. My friends love that side of me. And I love it when I am able to share that side with some other people.

Movies? To Kill A Mockingbird will always be number one. But every Christmas, I find myself re-watching the Home Alone series.
