ABOUT ME

We are a French couple who had been living in Dublin, Ireland, for 7 years. We travelled one year around the world in 2012 and we've decided to settle in Vitré (Brittany) after this amazing life experience!!!
We are easy going, open-minded, friendly, sociable and interested by traveling, helping travellers and meeting people.

We have been hosted by wonderful people all around the world and we loved all the different CS experiences we had so far! We are more than happy to host people now we have a home ;)

Etienne likes IT, nature and traveling. Aurore likes Art, painting, decoration and traveling. She likes customizing everything with every material she can find :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- We took a train from Guangzhou to Yangshuo (in China) over night. We spent 12 hours on a seat as hard as a cinder block and we were the only two English speakers among a 1000 Chinese people. :). The trip was worth it as Yangshuo is a beautiful city!
- We both left France for Ireland after our studies without knowing each other, planning to stay for a year... We met each other, our best friends, and lived there for 7 years!
- We saw the Great Wall of China by climbing on a small mountain with a chair lift and going down in a luge!
- we did a motorbike trip in Laos for a few days on mud and dust roads, it was awesome!
- we did a 10 days Vipassana meditation retreat up to the end and still continue to meditate when the conditions permit.
- we lived our dream doing a world tour by visiting 16 countries in one year and our couple resisted to this exceptionnal but tough (at times...) life experience !!! :-P
- Got married! :)

Teach, Learn, Share

Etienne can fix your computer (Windows mainly but I like open source too!) ;)
Aurore is good at painting, has plenty of ideas to decorate your home or whatever you want!
We're pretty much fluent in English and can teach you French basics.
Also as we did a world tour, we can give you advices on how to plan such a trip.
