Hi, I'm Eva! I am a musician based out of Riverside, CA, USA and I travel around with my band Eva and the Vagabond Tales. We are a European folk style band and play all over the state, hoping to travel more around the country and abroad.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My band and I like to travel to new and far away places and we often need places to stay. We figured that we'd use Couchsurfing since we want to participate in this community and meet new people and continue our adventures. We would also love to share our music with anyone we stay with.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all music- my favorite band is the Beatles, my favorite genre is motown, and I love anything from the 60s, especially harmony groups like the Association or The Vogues. The entire band has a variety of music tastes, so altogether we can say we truly enjoy any kind of music.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We are lovers of music, art, tea, languages, traveling and food, and we love to meet new people every day, which sounds like an exaggeration but we are lucky that we get to meet so many great people during shows and on our travels. We want to make friends more than anything, but during our stay, we will entertain our guests with old time folk music and stories from all the different places we've been. We can even attempt to give a lesson on guitar, bass, accordion, banjo, or drums!
