Hi you all!

I'm Evi (Vie for the friends), a social 32-year old single lady. And if I have to believe my friends, a bit crazy in the coconut (in a fun way!)

The 6th of november I'm leaving Belgium for the adventure of my life (so far).
I want to see a bit of the world now it is possible as I have no kids or partner, and leave everything behind for a while. I feel like I need it at this point in my life.

I've never travelled alone or with a backpack, so once I decided to end my relationship and quit my job (call it an early midlife :-) ), I chose New -Zealand and afterwords Australia as my destination.
Oh yes, I also bought a Ducati motorcycle and put a tattoo on my arm.
YES, definitely early midlife :-)

I hope to meet some nice people to talk/travel/dance/laugh/cry with and I hope to have the time of my life.
I'm also looking forward to improve my english and I love the Spanish language (learned it at school a loooooong time ago)

I always say, it is wiser to find out than to suppose! :-)
So I am ready for my adventure (let's not talk about the nerves and the butterflies in my stomach)

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Pretty the same as in "about me" I suppose.

Who invented couchsurfing?! Give him a statue PLEASE :-)

So I hope my first experience with cs will be positive.
I suppose I will mainly use it to catch up with people, stay in touch, travel together for a while, find a nice place to sleep and meet some nice people.

I'm also very curious for the way of life and the mentality in NZ/Australia
