Hi, I am Fabio. I'm here to connect with locals and share experiences. I especially love slow travelling, backpacking, pilgrimages and journeys on the road, but I also enjoy visiting friends around the globe. So far, I've walked along the Portuguese Way to Santiago, the Cornish Celtic Way, the St Francis Way and a small section of Via Francigena.
I've travelled through the wwoofing and Work Away web pages, which allowed me to live in an intentional community for a couple of months. I especially enjoy solo journeys but I'm also very sociable, I like sharing a glass of wine together and make new fantastic friends.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Having lived in four different countries I'm used to the idea of making new friends from all over the world, and I love it!
I want to discover the true soul of places I see by living as a local, not as a tourist. I want to hear new stories and collect new memories.

Interests

I've facilitated some sessions of Forest Bathing and Ecotherapy, as I'm also a hiking guide so I love grabbing my boots and go out there. Walking makes me feel relaxed and sorts out my thoughts. I like tarots reading (which I'm learning), dancing, doing yoga, go to the sauna, swimming (best if skinny-dip), naturism. I love Celtic festivals and traditions, which I often celebrate, like solstice rituals etc.
