Overview
About Me
I am Chinese descent, born in Lima and moved to Toronto when I was 14 years old, as you can see, I am all over the place, which also describes my everyday life! I decided to take an extra long gap year to get to know myself better and what more fun way to do that than through travelling and creating unforgettable experiences?!
My passions include food—my cooking is certainly not the best but hey, you have to start somewhere!—, languages, dancing pretty much to anything, history and reading! I love spending time outdoors while enjoying nature but I also enjoy the occasional turn up at the club.
I also enjoy having deep conversations on controversial topics. I love hearing everyone's point of view and yes, I will respect your opinion!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe that the only way to truly know a city is through the eyes of locals. With CS, I am certain that I will meet interesting people—and eventually friends— that will bring me a new perspective on the world but most importantly, life.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to a little bit of everything—I normally go through phases—I just exited the reggaeton phase and I am currently listening to a lot of indie, pop and rock. My go to songs are "broken" by lovelytheband, "Rewrite the Stars" by James Arthur and Anne Marrie and "House of the Rising Sun" by The Animals.
I am not the biggest fan of movies because I have a rather short attention span. But my favorite movies are The Shawshank Redemption, Reservoir Dogs, Kill Bill, Memento, Fight Club and The Green Mile. I prefer watching TV shows and the occasional telenovela. I love Breaking Bad, Black Mirror, La Casa de Papel, Friends, The Office and The X Files.
I LOVE reading! My friends would say that they never see me without a book! I love reading a little bit of everything but my go-to genre is definitely historical fiction. Please let me know of any recommendations! My all-time favorite series is Harry Potter which got me into reading. Other books I've enjoyed are Les Misérables, The Three Musketeers, The Count of Monte Cristo, Angels and Demons, Memoirs of a Geisha, The Boy in the Striped Pajamas, Don't Eat This Book, The Maze Runner, The Witches and Crazy Rich Asians.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once ate a gigantic waffle with a couple of scoops of ice cream after being stuffed from dinner—that was pretty amazing! 11/10 would do again!!
Teach, Learn, Share
I want to teach people to be more open-minded and happier! If you're having a bad day, just shake it off! Life is too short to worry about the little unimportant things!
I am a nerd, I want to learn everything and oh, snap, that includes how to ride a bike and swim.
I am down to sharing my very cringey jokes.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my crazy and entertaining stories! You won't regret it, guys!
