About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My condolence to all people in Ukraine!!!
I have three free beds at home and I want to help everyone who is stuck on the way to Ukraine and people who are able to escape from there safely. Feel welcome to stay as long as you need and I could find you a job.
FREEDOM and PEACE to the WOLRD!

ABOUT ME

I experienced a lot in live so far. Especially, the last 4 years since I've been having this kind of gipsy live were filled with exciting events. How we usually say: 'Traveling grows the character!' This one-year-trip in New Zealand is also meant to figure out for myself if I want to continue like that. I wouldn't say I'm tired of traveling. It's just that I appreciate to be settled as well, if the circumstances allow that.

I am a nice and easy going person, who enjoys meeting interesting or funny people. I try to communicate as much as I can because communication is the key to everything, isn't it? Although it can be tiring sometimes because of a lack of coffee. Warning: I'm a coffee addict.
If I travel on a low budget my survival instinct is constantly active. Then I don't mind neither challenges, adventures, risks or hunger. People were used to call me Fabio loco. Please, let me forget about it and let's party as much as we can.

PHILOSOPHY

Everything is always on your own mind....
Life is hard but beautiful

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My friend Jacky introduced me to couchsurfing in the very first place and I thought what a great idea to have free accommodation while you are traveling. In 2012 when I had a road trip I crashed accidentally into a couchsurfing-party in the historical heart of Krakow. I was finally hooked up with couchsurfing when I went traveling for one and a half years. In that time I stayed with hosts no matter with or without account, legally or illegally, rich or poor. I had experienced so much more with them than only free accommodation. So many crazy stories to tell about couchsurfing and in the end it has been basically making friends around the world. Two of my former hosts in Canada already visited me in Germany and Switzerland and I'm so gifted of all these live changing experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love listening to good music and dancing on it.
HIP HOP was, is and will always be one love. But the real catchy styles to dance in my opinion are Funk and Electronic Music. I am a big fan of Bass Music with break beats but I like it also as straight as Techno. I preciate music full of warmth, too. Like Soul, Jazz or old fashioned Jamaican music like Roots, Ska or Dub and all its facets. In the last years I've getting more an more into underground and psychedelic rock sounds from Blues Rock over Doom Metal to Stoner Rock.
It's a big shame that my memory is so bad that I can't mention most of the songs that I really love.

I prefer reading non-fiction books. That sounds not really interesting, I know. Which might mean that I may not interested in reading books.

I really enjoy watching movies and being entertained by them but to many productions bore me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Canoeing from Vienna to Sziget Festival in Budapest with my friend Alex Venus. Inter Rail sept. 2008
Road Trip 2012

Teach, Learn, Share

My main aim is to learn something about myself. By the way trying to improve continuously my language skills in Italian and English.
I want to start snowboard touring in Rocky Mountains to become an experienced and good freerider.
Additonally I want to lern everything about horseback riding and handling for being skilled enough to go safely on a trail. Who has the willing for giving me the hard training that I need to do the real cowboy shit?

Because I'm an untalented person there is no much that I can teach except telling things from my home and its culture.

The onliest things I have for sharing are all my connections, resources and experiences.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook or go for a walk with the dog. Certainly, I gonna tidy up and buy grocery and beer.
Unfortunately I'm not a talented person at all and I am not able to entertain my hosts with spectacular tricks. But it's my duty as a guest to offer a good conversation and I can pretty well laugh about myself.
