ABOUT ME

My friends would tell you that I am nothing more than random regurgitated snippets of the writers I've read and the music I've heard; but despite that, they'd also maintain that I'm really quite okay. Also, they might evoke the metaphor of a caged bird, where I am trapped both by my inability to travel and by my inability to not sound pretentious. Which basically boils down into me being quite fun to hang out with if you don't mind heavy irony and the occasional blasphemy or two.

PHILOSOPHY

Nietzsche said it best:

Thou wouldst wear no raiment before thy friend? It is in honour of thy
friend that thou showest thyself to him as thou art? But he wisheth thee
to the devil on that account!
He who maketh no secret of himself shocketh: so much reason have ye
to fear nakedness! Aye, if ye were Gods, ye could then be ashamed of

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

There isn't much scope for participation around where I live. Pakistan's hardly a premiere tourist destination, what with all the security issues and all, so can't really host. Other than that, my university is in a really isolated area so not much interaction with other CSers from Pakistan.

This field makes me feel woefully unaccomplished. I've seen a few breathtaking night skies from valleys up high, though.

I can go on and on about philosophy, literature, how the brain works and the material underpinnings of it all. If you listen carefully some of it might even make sense. I can listen for hours on end too (don't mind shorter intervals either). Anything you have to say to me shall be a considered a lesson worth learning, but talk to me about music and art and qualia, and you'll have my complete attention.
