About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To do the best of me and keep travelling!
ABOUT ME

I'd describe myself as a genuine, down to earth kinda woman, social, open minded, good listener, helpful, life advisor, charismatic, well educated.
I have roots in three continents and i am very proud of it.
I am willing to learn all time. I like to meet new people and learn from them.
Languages...I adore languages

I am very fortunate in having a job that allows me to travel a lot.
I grew up in a Catholic family but i am no religious. I do respect deeply other people's religions&beliefes&philosophies.

I hope to get in touch with reliable and serious people. If you think this is a dating site you should have to pass this. Don't spoil the real spirit of CS.
I am so grateful for the people I met on my travels in Ukraine: Eugene in Kiev, Ira and Dimas in Lutsk, Kris the Swedish guy living in Tarapoto, Peru and all the other CS-er offering help and tips, Without those persons those travels would have never been the same. Thank you so much for everything. I get speechless when i think of your generosity and hospitality. All the best and safe travels.

PHILOSOPHY

Accept people the way they are!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

A friend of mine from Curacao introduced me to this site. I think this is a nice way to interact with people from all around the world. Nice and genial project!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted people from Canada, Italy, UK, Taiwan, Austria, Spain (living in Denmark) and I met amazing people from other countries: Ucraine, USA, Nepal, Bhutan, Spain, Poland, Finland, Russia, Slovenia, France, Germany, Sweden, India, Egypt, Jordan etc.

I have been hosted by friends in Spain and the Netherlands, but no through this community.
Through CS i got hosted by nice people in Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Uruguay, Brasil, Argentina, Peru. Such amazing experiences. I can't wait to do it again : )

As a host i don't expect people will give me gifts or they will cook for me. I treat people the way i wanna be treated. But i really appreciated the necklace from my surfer, Taipei and the "Buddha eyes" from my host in Uruguay.

Interests

Reading, travelling, languages, working out, meeting friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

Last read: "Klara and the sun" by Kazuo Ishihiro, about AF.
"Eastern Island" by Jennifer Vanderbes
...so wonderful reading. My next destination will be...
All books written by Isabel Allende.
The movie "Love in the time of cholera", with Javier Bardem. It's just so amazing. I got watch it twice..
I like all kind of music. Most salsa at the moment..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Without doubt visiting Ellora caves in Araungabad, India, the Lion's rock in Sirigiya, Sri Lanka, climbing the Great Chinese Wall. Sliding down from the Wall, Mutanyu section. This slide was the highest in the world (2010). Scuba diving in Cozumel, Mexico...i got go back very soon.
Doing the trekking to Choquequirao from Cusco, Perú, watching pink dolphins in the Peruvian part of the Amazon River, enjoying the pink beach no far from Labuan Bajo, Indonesia.
Speaking mandarin with a Finish guy in Brasil, october 2012.
Bargaining in Arabic, Petra may 2012. I am so proud of it ; )
I've already seen the new seven wonders of the world ...and more is about to come! Taj Mahal was the last!
Of the seven wonders in nature I have already seen Iguazu falls (Brazil and Argentina), Komodo islands (Indonesia), Halong Bay (Vietnam), Jeju island (South Korea), the magestetic Amazon river (Peru, Brazil). To go Puerto Princesa (Philippines) and the Table Mountain (South Africa). I can't wait to see those beautiful places.

Iguazu falls has to be the most romantic place on Earth.
Being in a paradise for hiking&biking: Liechtenstein. Great little country.

Teach, Learn, Share

I taught Russian and Italian the first time I moved to Sweden.
I want to learn more mandarin and improve my other languages skills. I need to practice more writting...but time is no enought. I am always very optimistic with times.
