Overview
About Me
. I spend a lot of time wood carving, making "stick-bread" over an open fire, eating noodles and contemplating the pros and cons using walnut oil as a wood finish.
CURRENT MISSION
solidarity forever / picking all the berries.
PHILOSOPHY
Having somewhere to go is a home, having someone to love is a family.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Can't stop won't stop.
Interests
Swimming. Preferably in the ocean in the middle of the winter, but I'll settle with lakes, rivers, or warmer oceans any time.
Picking berries and fruit and make jam and pies. Biking. Animals. Plants, flowers and vegetables. Playing board games.
Traveling. This might be a given. Couchsurfing, hitchhiking, backpacking and living abroad has made me the person I am today and even if I wanted to, I couldn't go back.

Music, Movies, and Books
Anything that will make me hurt inside.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Ocean swimming in 0.6 °C, watching the northern lights, driving a cranberry railroad in Greyland, WA. Living in the Faroe Islands for 9 months, falling in love with the nature there and getting crazy of restlessness at the same time.
Teach, Learn, Share
When I host you, I'll share most of my things and life with you if you want to. Friends, family, cookies, soap.
I love when people share their life with me. I'd happily join you grocery shopping, weeding in your garden or watching your favourite tv show.
I want to learn everything I don't know yet, but especially useful knowledge or practical stuff. Like how to act when your face to face with a bear or how to mend my bike.
