About Me

I'm an american ESL teacher living in Madrid for the past year. I love trying new foods and making it on a good day. I'm down to help anyone with their English and would love to meet up and talk in Spanish with anyone who is learning and wouldn't mind practicing with an upper intermediate speaker!

I'm passionate about human rights and enjoy discussing it whenever, wherever with equally passionate people but I'm also a goof ball and love some Bob's burgers and Rick and Morty. I listen to podcast, yes I do, foreign policy, the read and last podcast on the left and I dabble in conspiracy theories (strictly in a lighthearted not serious about them at alll way).

What I Can Share with Hosts

Endless supply of chill company here :) I'm a good cook and I make mainly Caribbean/ american dishes. I've been living in Madrid for a little over a year now and although I'm a workaholic I've gotten around the city and know my way around pretty well. I've been to a few nearby cities and communities so if you are looking for a walking breathing fodor's travel guide I'm some of that. I'm really into history and it has been really fun to learn about the deep historic past of this city and country. My neighborhood of arganzuela is also very unique and there are so many cool hidden gem neighborhoods in this city so anyone whose been to Madrid before or looking for a less touristy side of the city I can show you around.
