Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I want to travel to a lot of different places but I don't want to be a tourist, I want to know what it is like to live in every city I visit. I have had some really great experiences both couchsurfing and going to couchsurfing events.
Music, Movies, and Books
Far too many movies to articulate. I used average about 3000 movies and television episodes a year, I am a bit insane, though I now go outside and see the sun every now and again. Books wise I am a sucker for chick lit but I read just about any genre, reading is fun. My musical tastes vary depending on the day but my current favorite genres are neo-soul, soul, folk, drum and bass, funk and alt-R&B.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I won a film contest on my very first film project. Maybe not the most exciting or the sexiest thing to have been done but it cemented the fact that I should get involved in something I had been dreaming about doing my entire life so it was amazing to me!
What I Can Share With Hosts
My sunny personality. I also am pretty good at odd jobs so I don't mind doing a bit of work in exchange for a spot on a couch.
My Interests
I love films and television. In my free time I write about them or make them. I am a masochist so I occasionally get involved in conversation about social reform and other blood pressure rising topics. I am huge fan of most things pop culture and hope to eventually getting paid for my obsession.
