Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To inspire young people to be their best irrespective of their circumstances ❤️
ABOUT ME
A simple soul in search of my inner talent and a bit of adventure. Nature enthusiast - coffee, farming, permaculture, life, travel
Trying to bring all these things together in this busy world is a challenge, so doing what I can.
I am passionate about travel to visa free destinations 🙂, community development, knowledgebale in bio-intenssive farming practice, and an aspiring composter. In my day job, I work in the youth development sector, but as a side gig, I train coffee makers. When I meet new people, I am reserved at first but get used to them quickly.
PHILOSOPHY
Just try it... but keep safe ;)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I surfed a bit and took a shot at hosting. I have been away from CS for a very long time due to changes in my living circumstances. I am back now
as I have recently embarked in developing an accomodation concept targeted at travellers for social good - individuals that travel with a purpose to connect with communities and give back. I would like to hosts individuals that are willing to contribute their ideas and skills to support the vision of creating an accomodation with purpose - balancing mental wellbeing, relationship building with communities, sustainability, and safety.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have hosted two great CSurfers and have stayed with one great host in South Africa.
Interests
I enjoy travelling to discover different cultures and food. Looking to enjoy all the surprising adventures and connections that Africa has to offer. Planning to visit Uganda, Malawi, Comoros, Mauritius, Namibia, Sierra Leone and Indonesia.
