Holaaa!

I’m Faus an adventurer at heart and sea lover, born in Gran Canaria 🇮🇨, but I’ve lived in Denmark 🇩🇰 and the Netherlands 🇩🇰. I love surf skating everywhere, and chasing new experiences 🌊 (The lovely dog of the picture is Rocco, he is not traveling with me atm)

I'm a hobby collector, I'm always trying new things, some stuff I like doing is: Music (guitar, violin, piano, singing, dancing), scuba diving, surfing, bouldering, mountain biking, fixing things, and exploring.

Giving back is one of the things I'm striving the most these days, beach cleanups, helping with photography and promotion of an organization that trains dogs to help mistreated women feel safer, and preparing for my dream: volunteering as a scuba diver to clean the ocean and photograph endangered marine life.

I love making things from scratch, and fixing stuff, I prefer something repurposed than something brand new. Right now building a gamified self-improvement app inspired by my own struggles with burnout and procrastination.

I love deep conversations, making people laugh, and bringing people together. Life’s an adventure—I’m here to live it fully 🚀

I’m fluent in English and Spanish, and currently learning Italian 🇪🇸 🇬🇧 🇮🇹

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

I'm getting ready to start volunteering this year, my plan is to start helping on a self sustaining farm on Sardegna, cleaning the bottom of the ocean in Portugal and finish taking pictures of the submarine endangered species in Thailand, everything in between is still a mystery, I could definitely pay you a visit if you are up for it 😁

I love hands-on projects and I’m eager to learn new crafts — especially carpentry, permaculture, or sustainable construction 🔨🌱

I’d also love to spend some time sailing and living on the sea ⛵

My hobby is having new hobbies, right now I'm focused on learning Italian, so, instead of learning one thing at a time as a regular person, I'm learning to play guitar, piano, singing and dancing all at once; on top of that surfing as well.
As you can imagine, I'm always running to pick the bus/the plane/the boat, you name it I run towards it.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

RANDOM FACTS:

- When I travel I tend to buy only one-way tickets, and figure out from there, that has generated some crazy situations haha
- I have seen life Elton John, Billy Joel, Metallica, Rolling Stones, ACDC, Sabaton, Ghost, Genesis, KISS and Robbie Williams in a 2 year time span
- I did pilot a plane once
- I fell asleep inside a pipe during a rave
- I've been close to dying twice (nothing serious but pretty close to)
- Once I cycled on a chittybike from Amsterdam to Brussels in 20hours without stopping while carrying Rocco.
- On a trip the first thing I do after getting a bike is getting lost on purpose.
- I love talking, but in the last few years I've learned to listen 😌
- I try to go surf skating to everyplace I have to be.
- I did "El Camino de Santiago de Gran Canaria 66Km" in 3 days and afterwards I went to Sardegna to do a via ferrata, my knees didn't like that.
- I always keep my promises.
- I believe in true love and feeling connected with the universe.
- On my second day on Berlin, I ran out of battery on the outskirts and I managed to reach my hotel on the middle of it with the scooter in under an hour only using my memory and intuition.
- I tend to start a lot of things but I don't focus enough time to finish them.
- In less than 2 months I was in Austria, Prague, Turkey, The Netherlands and Gran Canaria.
- I have only been once in mainland Spain (last year)
