Not so creative, but I'll start with the fact that I'm a russian girl, born in Saint Petersburg, but currently living in Latvia, its capital Riga. Latvia is a small but very beautiful, cozy and welcoming country!

As many of you, I really like travelling and exploring new countries and cities, and I do that as much as I can. Spend all my money on that ┌(・。・)┘♪

I'm calm and gentle person, but friends never get bored with me when we have some nice topics to chat or just have a walk around my city ^^ I love exploring the city I live in too, so I know many lovely places to visit here except well-known places of interest.

But I'm not really a party-person. I'd better have a cup of tea somewhere than to drink like crazy Σ(ﾟ□ﾟ)

I try to be a person as good and sincere as possible. I still haven't found my goal of life, yet I'll do my best in that during travelling. Because the best things are outside the comfort zone :3

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really want to let something new into my life with meeting new people and sharing ways of living in different countries and to get some inspiration! So feel free!

I may show you around or help to make your stay in Riga more comfortable. Also I know many good and cozy local places so I can give an advice.

Interests

My hobbies are somehow connected with travel.

I love learning languages. Wanna be a polyglot! (but too lazy). Now I started to learn Japanese. But I really don't want to forget Spanish. (And I also have French, but my level is crappy).

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm basically okay with everything, because new things are so nice to try - might it be new tv-shows, any kind of music or any genres of books :D Now I read a lot of traveller notes - gotta write mine one day! :D

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm proud of going to the big trip to Japan all alone :D It was a big challenge for me ＼(＾▽＾*) Also moving to another country just to live and travel together freely with my awesomest husband :D Trying hitch-hiking. Anyway, every social interaction is an amazing thing, because every meet with people is a gift - new experience, new stories, new friends (who knows) (and maybe because I'm a little shy too).

What I Can Share with Hosts

Couchsurfing might be a good opportunity to practice languages, so let's try! ;3 Also we try to investigate people reaction to Latvian cookie "Svetlana" (just like me, lol). We like it a lot, but many people say it's awfully sweet. Who knows, maybe you'll love it... or hate :)

We've been hosting and surfing for a year already, and we've found so many friends across the world! We've hosted people from China, Japan (many times, as I'm learning Japanese) and Russia, and willing to host more! We've surfed in Germany and Poland and it was so awesome!
