About Me

My name is Federica, I’m 30 years. I was born and raised in northern Italy and I have been living internationally for 7+ years, first in Edinburgh (Scotland) and later in Zurich (Switzerland).

I was educated as an architect and I recently evolved into a UX Designer - aka User Experience Design, aka I do design for digital products including websites, softwares, and mobile apps.
These days you'll probably find me exploring a lot of books, events or resources around my brand new career.

Besides work, my last host country turned me into a very sporty and outdoorsy person: I do love running and hiking, won't say no to some cycling as well.
While I still keep with me a strong interest for architecture and design from my old days in architecture school.

After a lifetime as an introvert, people now claim I’m becoming a very sociable person. (Meyer-Briggs defines me a "50% extrovert!). Indeed, I’ve recently realised I do really love to get along with other human beings at parties and other social environments and I can even interact with strangers not only without panicking but even developing truly awesome friendships!

My experience with Couchsurfing is part of this freshly-developed opening to the world, that I hope to match with another of my favourite things ever: travelling! What is best than going on adventure, meeting new friends all over the world and share the most amazing experiences ever with them?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To make of travelling a really unforgettable life experience rather than a mere tour around famous places. To enjoy places at the very best thanks to local tips.
And possibly meet new people sharing the same philosophy as me and enjoying our time together in front of a cup of tea or a good drink. Maybe in company with a cat...and horse....and what about a dragon as well?

Just a very important note: I'm one of those participating in Couchsurfing with genuine intentions, that is basically travelling, meeting new friends all over the world and sharing with them good talks and stories and possibly some little local adventures. This is the kind of people I like to meet and get along with during my trips. For easy dates or flirty stuff they have invented Tinder, so please don't bother me with that shit here!

Teach, Learn, Share

Anyone keen in learning the essentials of photography?

Or maybe hearing professional consiederations about the buildings in the surroundings?

I can offer some delicious Italian food as well: I am not the best cook ever but I know some very good and easy Italian recipes that I would be proud to share! In exchange I would love adding new recipes to my cooking skills list! I am especially interested in vegetarian alternative to meat.
