About Me
I'm a 25y student, I live in Turin (italy) and here I study medicine (5th year of study)
I play drums and other percussions (like cajon and djembe) but I'm not so good, that's just an hobby! Also sports that I practice like ski and basket are hobbies.
Cycling is apart: I use the bicycle every day to move in Turin, but I also use it to have wonderful trips nearby, on the hills, and to travel during summer holidays
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm couchsurfing because I think that is a good way to meet people and to learn how they live in their own countries. Instead of living in a "parallel reality" like a normal tourist, I find interesting to stay with people who live in the place I'm visiting. This allows to have an exchange between people with different cultures and to share personal experiences with them.
Interests
I wrote about cycling. Every summer, starting from 6 years ago, I passed my holidays cycling with friends.
The first year we went in Sweden, from Goteborg to Stockholm. That was amazing, very nice places, nature, good people..
The second year we cycled near Turin, because we had poor time to spend on holiday, so we just went in Liguria.
The third year we crossed the alps from susa (moncenisio) and we passed in France. Then we went to Grenoble, La Gràve, Briançon, Monginevro and back to Turin. The alps are simply fantastic.
The forth year we went to Corsica, and we traveled around the western coast down to bonifacio and then north, passing through the outback.
the fifth year we went in France again, crossing the alps south, at the Colle della Lombarda (vinadio) then we traveled on the "côte d'azur" to the Camargues and then Avignon. We came back by train. That year we were 7, a great number for traveling all together!
Last year we stayed in Italy. We travelled along the Via Francigena, that is a pilgrim route. That was amazing, nice places and hospitality (we were hosted as pilgrims). We arrived in Rome and we came back by train
This year we're going to Norway. We land in Moss (70km south of Oslo) and we move west. We'll arrive in Stavanger, near Preikenstolen, and then we'll move by ferryboat to Bergen. From there, we'll move again by Train to Oslo and then back to Moss.
