Overview
About Me
I was a common college student that used to enjoy only video games and reading comic books in my bedroom. Always had a fantasy about traveling all over the world and experience all sort of adventures, but only too coward to take the first step. As a new member to this community, I wish to meet more people, gain more experience and simply just have fun :D
Philosophy:
It's never too late to do something. Time is short, go out and see the world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
As a super indoor person, traveling was just not my type of thing. Until I came across one of my friends who's already visited over 100 countries! He showed me pictures and told me stories he heard.
It took me a whole lot of courage to finally decide to take up my own journey, but I hope this is a good start!
Interests
Music and philosophy are the two things that I enjoy the most. I like to talk with other people, see their view of the world, and hear their perspectives of life.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'd prefer listening to folk, pop, classic music, but other types including punk, electric or metal are also enjoyable. No particular favorite piece of music, but always looking for sounds that can touch my heart.
As for movies, Lord of the Ring series are definitely my favorite, watched them several times already. Comedy, action type movies are also my favorite.
Most the books I read are Chinese. If anyone is interested, my favorite is called 围城.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
So one day I was just doing my regular summer routine as a clerk in a book shop (I usually go to work on bike). However, after I finished my work, I took notice that I finished 2 hours early than usual. Then a crazy thought came to me: Hey! Why not go visit friend who lives on a mountain and is 25 miles away from my work place : D.
So I began my journey. It took me 5 hours to complete the trip. My bike broke down twice, got burnt in the sun, nearly fainted from dehydration, and almost got ran over by a car. But I did make it, and it was nice to see my friend's shocking face.
Now I think of it, it was a really stupid idea, yet totally worth it.
