About Me

I'm a Portuguese languages passionate, who is crazy about learning new languages all the time, no kidding. I would say I'm a pretty happy person, which translates into weird dances and lots of laughter, also I don't need much to be all joyful wich means I'm ready to see a trip to the post office as the most exciting adventure, the only thing I need is my backpack- If my backpack is on, it means it's adventure time! You never know what you may find if you don't look for anything and just go with the flow so my favorite thing to do is spend time getting lost somewhere, be it in the middle of the nature or in the middle of a crowded city. Literature, other than languages is my second passion so I will always have a book in my loyal backpack.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

What a better way to immediately mingle with the locals than to stay at their place? Traveling for me is really about spending time knowing the culture and talking to native speakers, if it was just to see the most touristic places, I would just make a quick Google search and see all the monuments, what I'm really interested in is the little city secrets that only someone who lives there knows- that coffee shop with the nicest owners, the best place to watch the sunset, that incredible graffiti in a lost road

Music, Movies, and Books

Anything from Fernando Pessoa or Murakami, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Saramago...
In music my taste goes from classical music to electronic passing by jazz and hip hop so it's pretty wide and I'm always excited to hear new music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Until now, probably my Erasmus semester in Italy

Teach, Learn, Share

I would be extremely pleased to teach about my home country and my language if you do the same!

Countries I’ve Visited

France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Switzerland

Countries I’ve Lived In
