Overview
About Me
I use to teach in the US but I just completed a masters degree in education policy in London. Currently I’m traveling the world working on my own independent research on understanding the complexities of race and identity globally.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have a project where I go around the world talking to people about race and identity issues in their country/places they’ve lived and learn about local ways they address them. The name of my project is called Woke in Translation. The interviews I conduct are called Race Dates-casual/informal and platonic dates that focus around the topic of race and identity. My hope is to highlight the complexities of issues around race because in order to solve the issues we should be comfortable speaking on them.
