Hi! I'm a young psychologist currently working as a college teacher at Universidad Católica del Maule. I'm a very curious person and I like to learn about everything I can, so I usually read a lot of books. Besides that, I love music (I used to play guitar, bass and sing in a rock band) and practice some sports like climbing and cycling. I also read the tarot deck as a form of free counseling. I'm single and have no children.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

I'm looking forward to connect with new people and meeting new places and cultures. Honestly I feel like I've been living a traditional and safe life for a few years and now it's time to have some adventures, take some risks! I'm new to Couchsurfing.

Music, Movies, and Books

In Music I have my all-time favourites but I usually enjoy all kinds of music and sounds. Some of my most loved bands and artists are The Cure, The Clash, David Bowie, Bob Dylan, Elliott Smith, Jeff Buckley, John Mayer, Chris Cornell, Pearl Jam, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Jack Johnson, Guided By Voices, Nada Surf, Soda Stereo, Luis Alberto Spinetta, Pedro Aznar, Krishna Das, Usted Señálemelo, Antonio Vega-Nacha Pop and many, many others. I love cinema, especially movies like The Shawshank Redemption, The Dark Knight trilogy, Before Sunrise (and sequels), Back to the Future, Rocky, The Godfather, The Party (with Peter Sellers), Fight Club, Forrest Gump, Interstellar, The Dead Poets Society, Into the Wild, (500) Days of Summer, The Wolf of Wallstreet... to give you an idea. I like reading a lot, although there are times when I read more than others. Some of my favourites are A Song of Ice and Fire, Demian, Siddharta, 1984, H.P. Lovecraft, The Lord of the Rings, Yuval Noah Harari's books, musician's biographs and books about history, western and eastern philosophy and third wave psychology (humanism, transpersonal psychotherapy), to name a few.

One Amazing Thing I've Done

My regular job consists of encouraging socially vulnerable but talented kids to continue studying in higher education, opening oportunities them and their families have considered impossible until now... I think that's pretty amazing! (I love my job). When I was younger I worked in the United States as a ski and snowboard photographer for three months.

I can teach you spanish if you want and also I can share my skills in playing guitar, reading the tarot, climbing, etc.

What I Can Share With Hosts

I read the tarot cards for free :) Besides that I absolutely love sharing a good conversation with a nice person and if it's with a bottle of wine, even better!

My Interests

I'm a people's person but I also enjoy spending time by myself or in a quiet place with an interesting other. I'm all about tolerance and enjoying our differences. Sometimes I like dancing till my feet hurt :D
