I'm 21 years old and I'm studying Industrial Design Engineering at the Univeristy of Twente in Holland. I'm an active person who is in for all kinds of new adventures and I mostly like to play sports (field hockey, indoor hockey and ice hockey), travel and camp. During my youth I've done a lot of active things during the holiday like rafting, kayaking, canyoning, viaferrata and stand up paddle on wild water. And I started to get interested in hiking during my time in Sweden. I have studied for one semester at Lulea Univerity of technology in the northern part of Sweden where I have met so many people. I really liked to go on small or big trips and enjoyed every moment being there. I'm always very interested in other peoples stories and like to improve my English.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

Upcoming summer I'm going to hike and camp in Norway and I'm planning to go to Oslo for 1 or 2 days.I would love to meet local people who can tell me the highlights that I should see in this short amount of time. Besides this I'm planning to do a world trip for 1 year in 2018. I'm going to do volunteering work in Africa and would like to do some hiking in Nepal. From there I'm planning to go to Thailand, Loas and Cambodja, but I'm actually in for anykind of adventure that will come on my path and I think Couchsurfing can help me with that. I think it's a great way to meet local people and see other things than just the touristic sightseeings.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I don't really have a favourite artist, but I like to listen to different playlists on Spotify which are most of the time lists like sunday morning music and stuff like that. The artists I like are KYGO, ed sheeran, the passenger, john mayer, john legend, one republic, the fray and so on. I used to read quite a lot, but since I study I kind of stopt. I've red a lot of fiction like Harry Potter, the Hunger Games & the Divergent series, but also romans of Nicholas Sparks. I've seen all those movies as well, so I'm into fiction, but I like a good woman cry movie as well.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

For my 18th birthday I did skydiving above Texel (Island in Holland) and a 2 day snowmobile tour in Sweden (okay I couldn't pick ;p)

Lehren, lernen, teilen

Back home I'm a Science Coach on a primary school, which basically means that I have to teach science to kids from 4 to 12 years old. And after the summer (2017) I start my minor to become a physics teacher on secundary school. I really enjoy teaching, so I would be happy to teach you something that you don't know yet. Besides that I'm really interested in traveling although I haven't traveled that much myself I would like to hear other peoples stories about the world.
