At the moment I live in the Netherlands where I am doing an MSc International Development studies, I like to travel and enjoy life :) In 2015 I lived and studied in Cancun, Mexico. And in 2016 I worked in a tour operator in the South of Australia, learning all the bits and pieces of the culture in Australia. In the beginning of 2017 I went to South Korea for two months to do research for my Bachelor thesis about culture and architecture in Seoul. From January 2018 I started my roadtrip through New Zealand of one and a half year, I got to meet great kiwi's, backpackers and the love of my life :D After that I lived in Edinburgh for five months to enjoy the vibrato city life of Scotland. All of these journeys as well as some backpack and family trips are the most dear memories in my life.

I like to experience different cultures by traveling the world and living in other countries. Seeing other places with meeting a local expert that wants to share his/her knowledge with me is the best way to get to know a destination :)

Intereses

Traveling, Watching movies/series/animé, trying all sorts of different adventure sports: wake boarding, diving, ice skating, sailing, mountain biking, bungee jumping (in the near near future: surfing and mountain climbing).
I come from a small town in the North of the Netherlands (Friesland) where we do ice skating in the winter and we sail on the same lake in the summer, two of my favorite things.

Swag/bush camping under the stars in the Nullarbor (Australia) I call my campfire my bush television and the stars a galaxy far far away.

2015: Spend a night with a hobo hippie dressed as a flower that shows you his private cenote (cave) at the beaches of Tulum, Mexico

2016: Shark Cage Diving in Australia

2017: I recommend to do Karaoke with only Koreans a lot of Soju (local drink) and together sing justin bieber with the song Baby, in a coin Karaoke bar in Seoul at 04.00 in the night!

2018: Understanding how it is like to live in the most beautiful country on earth, New Zealand.

2019: Edinburgh, the city of Live Music and Fringe festival, this city is deep in my heart.
