ABOUT ME

My name is Ferry. This year I will be 40 but I'm a single man.
I am Indonesian but I have Chinese blood. I speak Indonesian language, English, little French, and little Japanese. I love learning other languages and sharing our cultures.
I am the only child of my parents, but my father passed away 10 years ago. Since then, I live with my mother in Surabaya -a city at East Java Province in Indonesia- and I work as Indonesian language teacher to foreigners or expatriates who live in Surabaya.

When my father was alive, I used to travel by myself to Singapore, Vietnam, Malaysia, Japan, and England as well. But Since my father passed away, I usually go travel with my mother. I take care of her and I want to show her other countries, cultures, people and anything I can show.
Even though she is in her 66 this year, but she likes walking, going by bicycle by herself, and she likes young people life as well. Therefore, you do not have to worry when you couch us at your place. We care about all things as well, we will keep our room in your place clean and well managed.

Interests

I like something new, something different than what I usually do. I love culture, visiting not only traditional places but also modern and futuristic places and architectures buildings.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was surprised of how people in other countries like Japan, Singapore, and England obey all basic rule such as traffic rule and manners. They keep and maintain clean in everywhere while this is not well maintained in my country :(
I also very surprised how people in Japan especially Tokyo walk very fast even in a hurry, while people in my country mostly walk slow while chit chat with friends.
