ABOUT ME

I am a stay at home mom. I currently have 4 kids ages 4 to 14 years old. My husband works at Portland General Electric here in Oregon now. We also have a large friendly dog that lives with us in our home, a goat, mini pony, two llamas, and three horses that lives at our farmhouse in the field and a bunny in a hutch.

PHILOSOPHY

I am a semi crunchy attachment parenting mama. I love my life as a stay at home mother and wife. I homeschool my children and love teaching them. I love my family, friends, and my religion. I am a LDS (Mormon) Christian and love God and Christ. I try to respect the Earth and God's creations and live an eco-friendly lifestyle. I love blogging, Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest but sometimes the internet gets in between my family and I and so I have to take short sabbaticals from it. I love learning and the world has so much to offer me.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

While at the Netherlands Antilles, Curacao in the Caribbean I went scuba diving, snorkeling, and watched a total solar eclipse. It was beautiful!

Lehren, lernen, teilen

Our lovely red curly haired, blue eyed daughter passed away to heaven in April of 2010. She was just 6 years old, multiply disabled and medically fragile. She taught us so many things about life and how precious it really is. She was so happy all the time even when nurses were poking her with needles trying to take her blood for tests. She loved everything and everyone and they loved her back. She will always be in our hearts and missed dearly. We are so very glad we had the chance to have her with us in our lives.
