ABOUT ME

I am 24 years old, I am not married and I do not have any children. I have lived in Colorado my whole life and not planning on living anywhere else any time soon. I love the great outdoors, hiking, camping, the works. I have lived in the Canon City part of colorado for about two years. I will be entering my 5th summer as a wildland firefighter. I like to travel although i have done very little outside of the US. I spend most of my time visiting with family and friends, going on the occasional mountain adventure and partying at the local bars. I have a brother that is 26 and 16 yearold sister that I adore. I am a family man. I live within an hour of most of my family.

PHILOSOPHY

Life's too short to be pissed off all the time.

Pray not for things, but for wisdom and courage.

Never give up on what you really want to do. The person with big dreams is more powerful than one with all the facts.

Lend only those books you never care to see again.

Good books. Good tv. Good movies. I mostly stick to the outside finding somthing to do like split firewood, or helping my grandpa fix somthing around the ranch. I like riding horses and snowboards.

I enjoy reading student workbooks for fire classes that I take. I listen to mosly rock, but enjoy a little of everything. I havenot found any certain type of books that I like, but I do like to read. I like documentaries and mystery movies.

Whatching my little sister grow up has been the most amazing part of my life.

I am up for learning new things always. Since becoming a wildland firefighter I learn somthing new everyday and the people I work for constantly encourage training. I got involved in wanting to work outdoors by being drawn there as a kid. Although I do not like to hunt, I do enjoy to fish and go camping. Through these experiences I enjoy teaching others about the forest.
