About Me

I am fun and easy going person. I like to travel, learn something new, explore interesting places, but I think that the popular tourist places are also worth seeing at least once)) I'm neat and punctual, have a very responsible attitude to everything, so there are no problems with me =) I Live in St. Petersburg (Russia).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have never traveled with couchsurfing, but I think it is a very convenient and economical way to travel. First, there is the opportunity to learn something new about the country from the residents. Secondly, it is a great opportunity to improve my English. And the most important thing is, of course, the opportunity to visit those places that are too expensive to visit with the help of a tour Agency.

Interests

A lot of time I spend at work, but twice a year during the holidays I try to visit as many places as it's possible. In my free time I do sports, or go to concerts, theaters, museums or festivals, which are often held in St. Petersburg. I love to visit my parents in native Republic of Karelia (Petrozavodsk). My famiy love to spend time in the country, especially swimming and fishing)

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Russian rock, because it's easier to play guitar and sing with friends)) As for literature - I like humorous stories and novels (in particular - English literature) or stories about the lives of real people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once I was the organizer of the Forum of Compatriots "Foum Alexandra Nevskogo" - it was very difficult, but great! Guests from different countries (they have Russian roots) came to our forum-studied the culture of their ancestors and Russian traditions. Participants came even from such far corners of the world as Nigeria or Canada! At that moment I realized that the world is not so big, but at the same time it is infinitely diverse and interesting! It was the most memorable time of my life.

Countries I’ve Visited

Cyprus, Egypt, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Montenegro, Poland, Spain, Sweden, Thailand, Tunisia, Turkey
