About Me

ABOUT ME

I'm a very easy going person. I have my truths, but I don't take then so seriously.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm here to meet people from different cultures, no matter if travelling or in my city. CS is an amazing community and I've had really good moments here. :)

Interests

Travelling, painting, nightclubing, cooking, gigs, normal urban life. It sounds a cliche, but I get very excited when I'm in touch with a new culture.

Music, Movies, and Books

Well, the list can be quite extensive, but here it goes some names:

Authors: Thomas Mann, Clarice Lispector, Herman Hesse, Albert Camus, Caio Fernando Abreu, Franz Kafka, Lewis Carroll, Mia Couto and Lygia Fagundes Telles.

Music. This is always changing and I really like to know new bands and rythms, but some of then are irreplaceable. Here they're: Duran Duran, New Order, Depeche Mode, Sam Sparro, Blondie, Little Boots, Nina Simone, Mutantes, Madonna, David Bowie, Moby, Zoot Woman, LCD Soundsystem, Maison Kitsuné, Junior Boys. Ok, this list won't finish, sorry. Basically, I'm a synth addicted.

Favourite filmmakers: Luis Buñuel, Rogério Sganzerla, David Lynch, Lukas Moodyson, Luchino Visconti, Pier Paolo Pasolini, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most beautiful place that I've visited is Salar de Uyuni, in Bolivia. It's a surreal salt desert in the middle of the Andes.

Crossing the Mozambique's boundary to Malawi in an "amazing race style": train, bike-taxi, walking, a mini-bus (that broke in the middle of the way) and finally hitchhiking.

Skydiving in Namibia :)

...
