Hello there, My full name is Florian Fahrenschon and at the moment I am 23 years old. (Age might not be up to date:)) I am an open-minded person, who really loves to have and share fun with everyone. I really love hanging out with my friends and doing things with them. I'm shy at first, I'm not one of those very extroverted people (I would love to be, but I'm not), but after a while you get to know me I can be weird sometimes. After 12 years of learning in school, I am really keen on getting to know the world I am living in: When I am 60 years old, I want to have friends all over the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Many of my friends did couchsurfing before and I definitely only got positive response. The stories they told me really captured my interest.

Furthermore I am an apprentice, thus my money is limited and I believe, this is a cheap and easy way of widening my horizon and meeting people.

Interests

Those are so numerous, that I will not be able to mention all of them. First of all I really like learning things, knowledge is a great thing. I like doing sports, so far I played soccer, lawn and table tennis and I really enjoy swimming. Playing and making music is a huge part of my life: I play the piano, the guitar, I sing and I am making music on my computer. (https://soundcloud.com/fif5) I really like to travel. In summer 2015 I booked a flight to the States and did some couchsurfing over there: I had the greatest time, only good experiences. So far I couchsurfed in Amsterdam, the US, Berlin, Canada, Finland and in London.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am beginning at the back: I hardly read books, nevertheless my favourite one is "The Little Prince" by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. This book is awesome. (Update: In the last year I really started reading again and read a couple of Hesse's and Coelho's work. Two great writers.) My Top 3 movies are 3rd Awakenings; 2nd Inception; 1st Lucky Number Slevin, but I have got many more films I really like. To be honestly I can not be very specific about my favourite music, because I love everything, that sounds good to me: Eminem, J Dilla, Kaytranada, B.o.B, Macklemore, Elvis, Michael Jackson, Al Green, Frank Sinatra, Hans Zimmer, Tchaikovsky, Avicii, ...

Teach, Learn, Share

At the moment I work: I a have a job at a radio- and tv-station here in Bavaria. (”Bayerischer Rundfunk”) I’m working for the radio-channels: BAYERN2 and BR-KLASSIK
My job is called "creator for media" and I do all kinds of stuff with cameras and editing pictures, movies and audio there. Lately I do work especially with audio though. I would love to share my knowledge on these topics.
Update: Stopped working at the radio and started studying medicine at the LMU.
