Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to enter stillness so fully that I may erupt into dancing light... or to be more like Winnie the Pooh
ABOUT ME
Well... I live on 5 acres of land in the country side. My partner and I are building a house and developing our place with ecological values. We use a composting toilet system, wood heat, an outdoor kitchen and are on a bike path. We are living in our yurt while the house is under construction. Which will be a great couch surfing situation when the house is done. I meet my financial needs by putting my artwork onto clothing, mostly t-shirts, which I sell at festivals in the Pacific Northwest. I've been doing that for 20 years!!! Yikes! (Written with a smile because I actually love it. I just can't believe that 20 years has gone by so quickly.)
PHILOSOPHY
oh, how I want to say something brilliant when the truth is that I am usually muddling along but always planning my next meal.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm a newbie.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I stay with friends when I travel for my festivals. I have traveled to New Zealand and backpacked for a month. I stayed in youth hostels then but I get the feeling that CouchSurfers are similar ilk to hostelers. This seems like a natural next step for that breed of traveller.

Music, Movies, and Books
Tom Waits, friends making music around a fire, live music, yes, The Gotan Project, Joni Mitchell, Astor Piazzolla, yikes, I don't have time to do this right now...I'll be back. There is plenty more to offer but suffice it to say, my friends' music is the beeeeest! DIY music!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've sailed to Hawaii from San Francisco on a 150 foot square rigged ship with a bunch of Japanese people. Tree sitting on the full moon in September, 150' up a Doug Fir...nice.
