About Me

Hello people!

It's hard to start talking about myself. I tried to write anything I tought about so don't be surprise if it's not really oragnised ;)

My philosophy : everything goes well in the end! I hate the "Keep calm and blablabla" posters/meme but I have to admit it's pretty much my way of thinking...

When I travel, I never really worry BUT I love organisation (in real life and in travel-life). I need to have plans, and to do lists to be able to relax and to realise I can do it. My traveling goal : do the adventure/nothing-is-planned-in-advance trip once in my life!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As anyone here, I want to travel as much as possible as long as I can, discover as many amazing people, landscapes, food and traditions as possible to die in peace as an old lady with many stories to tell.

I am a member of Erasmus Student Network Louvain-La-Neuve. This is our local section of the big organisation ESN you maybe know (Erasmus people??).
This organisation aim to welcome, support and defend the Erasmus students all over the "big Europe".
Being a volunteer for ESN and welcoming guests on couchsurfing is more or less the same objective I think. This allows me to meet people even if I cannot go abroad, and, most of all, to make people discover my tiny country. This is the most important : I maybe don't know that much about Belgium but any "did you know that ..." makes my day!

Interests

I don't go out much : I usually prefer to stay home and do something cosy. But I sometimes have my Saturday-night-fever, and then , you CAN'T STOP me. (huehuehue)

I am very crafty : knitting, crocheting, drawing (like shit), coloring (less like shit), leather working (no so much anymore), sewing... Crafting is in, Creating is life.

I also am a TV "addict". Shows are my evenings (binge watching only during the holidays, I am not a complete animal). I am a big fan of historic shows : Narcos, Vikings, but most of all Rome, the Tudors, Reign (girly, I know) and, the very best, my favourite of all times, The Borgias. I also enjoy more fantastic shows like True Blood or Once Upon A Time or cartoons (glory to The Simpson).
I also love to watch stupid tv reality-shows with the only roomate that doesn't judge me for that. We can waste way too much time in front of cooking shows, the Kardashians, Koh-Lanta and other trash-tv programs where illegaly stupid plastic-perfect young people try to do some shit the prod ask them to do.
I have to recognise my movie culture is very poor so, if you feel like instructing me, be my guest! (By actually being my guest, hilarious, right?).

Regarding my traveling interests : I love autumn and morning light, landscapes (nature and city, but mostly nature), churches, domes and doors with titans (doors with scupltures on the sides, like guardians).
I often travel alone because I love to stop and stare. I can stay a long time in the same place just to contemplate and enjoy the peace.

More details in my livingroom!
