Overview
About Me
My name is Florencia, I´m 39 years old and live in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
After 11 years working in the corporate world in the facilities/infrastructure area I finally decided to listen to my heart and study Photography.
I was born in Brazil - sao Paulo - but my parents are from Argentina (Buenos Aires) so I consider myself haf brazilian half argentinian.
My passions are: photography, water photography, sports photography, swimming (mainly in the sea. I participate in aquatic marathons), actually I love sports !!Travelling, meeting people from all over the world and their culture are also my passion.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think couchsurfing is an excellent option to geeting to know local people and their culture, exchange experiences and knowledge and a great way for a tourist to know more about the city
I´m going to New York in July to study Photography at the International Center of photography (ICP).
I´m looking for some host that could have me for a few days until I find a steady place to stay.
It would be a great way to know more about New York in general and exchange experiences =)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Wow, that´s a difficult thing to say...but for me one amazing and unforgettable experience was recently in Rio de Janeiro. I took classes of water photography so I had to get into the sea with some big waves (not huge) and take photographs of some athletes - surfers - and It was AMAZING. I was terrified and amazed as well, but it was such a great experience for me.
