Hi !
Always difficult to make an introduction ! I am both a shy and outgoing person, depending on the feeling I have ; but you'll most likely see me smiling most of the time ! I feel like I'm deeply curious of the world, whether it be cultures, sciences, history or whatever, I always need something new to focus on ! I'm a bit an artist, which means that I often have my head in the clouds.

At home, I am a french teacher, but I am getting bored of this job and I am willing to change my career path to be able to travel more.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

I just subscribed anew to Couchsurfing after years without using it, for my trip to Mauritius. I really wish to see more of the local culture and avoid the touristic places. I come from Reunion Island, so I do know some of the Mauritian culture, but I always came to the island as a tourist before. I really wish nowadays to see more of the oridinary life there, and meet its people !

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Music : folk music (Bob Dylan and so), Irish traditional music, rock, rap, classical, and a bunch of other genres. I love discovering new great artists !
My favorite book would be Samuel Beckett's novels (yes, I am a litterature teacher).

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

One of my best travelling memories was when I travelled in Greece with some friends. We went to see Euripide's Medea in the Epidaurus amphitheatre at night. It was fantastic: the ruins were enlightened by torchlights, we could see the valley's landscape in the moonlight, while the warm wind running through it was passing over us.

Ce que j'aimerais partager avec mes hôtes

I'd like to spend some time together, and maybe be able to visit thing together. I'm not too much into cooking, and I'd like to discover local food, but I can do it to please someone who hosts me !
