ABOUT ME

I'm a California girl at heart. I lived in Austria while in High School and that is when my interest in foreign countries, people, and culture was first born. Since then, I have had the travel bug and am not at peace until I'm at my next destination or planning one. I lived in New York for four years while in college where I majored in Spanish and German and Systems Engineering. I then went to work and lived in Hawaii for almost five years. From there I traveled Southeast Asia, the Pacific, Australia, and even Alaska! I got married two years ago to Sean who loves traveling as much as I do and we look forward to many many years of traveling together!

PHILOSOPHY

I constantly feel like I am running out of time to explore everything I'd like to explore. Work gets in the way as well as responsibilities :) But I enjoy every minute of it when I do get the chance. I want others to experience that thrill as well.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None. I have been hesitant to join. Not sure why. I have, however, stayed with good friends in Singapore and that was an amazing experience!

James Patterson fanatic. Any music and I'm terrible with movies. I tend to fall asleep or forget that I've already seen them.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sky Dived over the island of Oahu in Hawaii. Scuba Diving in Okinawa Japan and the Marshall Islands. Climbing Mt Fuji, and I'm sorry PITA, but I have eaten Kangaroo in Australia. : / Running two marathons (one in Los Angeles and one in Honolulu Hawaii). For the record....husband and I will be one year animal products free on May 16th 2013! (no meat or dairy!)
