About Me

CURRENT MISSION

ABOUT ME

Born in southern California, lived in southern California and central California for most of my life. Been in Washington state for a few years now. Doing school. Long and the short of it.

I like to go out, like to read, like to learn. Somewhat religious, somewhat "spiritual," trying to do more than speak at this point... and less.

PHILOSOPHY

"The whole world is a hustle, faith is just a muscle, gotta use your hands and stuff."

-Lauryn Hill

Not sure how much I agree with the first part, but it is an interesting perspective. Like the second part.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I don't really participate on couchsurfing. I was fortunate to find some cool people during a trip to Nicaragua through here... other than that... waiting for people to contact me directly.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Two experiences, same trip, same hosts. Awesome folks. Can't say enough about them. The circumstance of meeting them was one in which I didn't think or plan the trip too much, and ended up in the middle of a completely unfamiliar place. That being the case, they were like an oasis in that they spoke excellent English and offered conversation and a home to sleep in.

Interests

Interested in meeting cool people. Beach, books, history, poetry, dance, music, people.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: e.g., Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon; Kung Fu Hustle; Life is Beautiful
Music: e.g., Maxwell, Lauryn Hill, Paolo Nutini, House music, Drum and Bass (DJ Marky :-)
Books: e.g., The Bible; Any non-fiction, on a practical level, fiction doesn't really interest me. That's not to say that I haven't come across fiction that I thought was amazing. It's just to say that I would like to learn as much as possible and non-fiction is most often thought of as the way to do that.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have seen many an amazing thing. I have done some amazing things... or, at least, been able to be a part of many amazing experiences. Most of the most amazing have involved amazing people.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can tell you a few things about my favorite places around Seattle, and why. Can tell you about poetry, speak about life, speak about religion, speak.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Conversation, maybe a different perspective.
