CURRENT MISSION To fight global climate change by planting forest and creating the infrastructure for low-carbon transportation. ABOUT ME We are a couple in our 60's. Rick is a retired teacher and electronics engineer. He is now the Executive Director of two environmental nonprofit organizations. He also tutors math and science. Janet teaches music and dance at two elementary schools and provides teacher workshops and classes worldwide. PHILOSOPHY Rick: Most people are good-hearted, fun-loving and reasonable. Seeing the grand canyon of Arizona and the wide vistas of the Burr Trail in Utah. Standing at the foot of a giant redwood. Singing Bach's B Minor Mass. We have helped to preserve over 70,000 acres of California redwoods and coastal headlands.
